Ganapathy  Subramaniam

The word 'Chi' means the very essence of life. To capture the very essence of life and movement in what we observe or express is the gestural approach. Its more than what meets just the eyes but what the senses and the mind observe in total all at once. The sculptures of the past begin with the gesture and end in a more refined form, I try to capture that point of origin. Occasionally I keep going and finish it.
